
Finally getting some dye work done and here is the starting point. Seventy-five yards of whiteness just waiting to be turned into something else.

Of course, the studio supervisor is on hand to make sure that I get all this fabric ready to go in one yard pieces for the dye pots.
Could there be an ulterior motive on his part? I think somebody never met a stray, dangling thread that he didn't like....

The mad scientist's table is all ready to go.
I quite like having all these beakers and stuff sitting about. Since I dye out of my garage, it gives the neighbors something to guess about... "What the --- is going on in THAT house?"

Now we are presoaking the fabric in salt water.
I often tell the cats that that only reason they are allowed to be studio supervisors is so that I can collect these handy buckets!
